A Biodiverse Estate
Quinta da Valeira spans 27 hectares, with nearly 10 hectares planted with mature vines. Over half of the vineyard is dedicated to Touriga Nacional, one of the most highly regarded grape varieties for port wine, known for its aromatic complexity and structure. The remaining area is planted with traditional port varieties such as Touriga Franca, Tinta Francisca, and Sousão, each contributing to the depth and character of the wines.

The wines of Quinta da Valeira are crafted with care and expertise by winemaker Cláudia Quevedo. After completing her studies in Enology at the University of Vila Real and gaining experience at Barros & Almeida, she returned in 1999 to her roots in São João da Pesqueira. Since then, she has dedicated herself to producing wines that truly reflect the essence of the Douro Valley.
